The Fireye InSight II is a versatile compact flame detector with many worldwide approvals. The InSight II compact flame detectors provide advanced discrimination capabilities, integrated flame detection, amplification, safety verification and flame relay in one housing. No external evaluation device (flame detector) is required to communicate with the supervisory control system. The InSight II compact flame detector measures the amplitude of the modulations that occur in the target flame (flame “flicker”). Programming is accomplished via a push-button display unit or with Fireye FEX software. Both products are available as options.
Fiber optic versions are available as an option for difficult viewing conditions or high ambient conditions.
The models of the Insight II series are also designed for the detection of hydrogen flames (Hydrogen Ready).

Two flame relays independently adjustable (change-over contacts, except 95DSS3-1WINC). Can be used as UV, IR or dual sensors (UV and IR), microprocessor based solid state sensors, supply voltage 24VDC, process connection 1″ BSP or NPT, purge air connection 3/8″, ambient temperature -40°C to +65°C (self-monitoring up to 85°C internal), NEMA 4X, IP66 enclosure, 21 basic modulation frequencies, adjustable gain and ON/OFF thresholds, two 4-20mA output signals, fault relay, four selectable parameter sets. Approved for continuous operation. LED display and four pushbuttons (optional), quick-lock connector, learning mode with possibility of manual readjustment, optional PC software “Fireye Explorer”, down- and upload of parameter sets.

Infrared and UV sensor, wavelength IR 700 to 1700nm and UV 295 to 320nm, for multi-fuel firing. Electrical connection is via a 12-pin quick-connect plug.
